Sugarloaf Key KOA for Easter Week

As soon as son #3 gets home from school on Friday, we hit the road, leave the never ending Northeast winter behind and hit the Floriday Keys!

Should get to VA/NC border late Friday night for some Walmart camping and then stay in Debary, FL on Saturday and Sunday (meeting son #2's girlfriend's family). Finally get to the KOA on Monday.

DW can't wait for warm weather.

Sounds great RVThere! Nothing quite like the Florida keys. We're going camping starting tomorrow, but we're heading north to Pennsylvania, Jersey and the general area, with a stop at Cherry Hill Park outside DC on the way home in early June.

We're going to the keys in July (yuk-hot) because my son-in-law in taking command of a USCG cutter based out of Key West. The change of command ceremony is in July. If I bring the rig, we'll stay at the Famcamp on the Navy base. Then, in November we'll stay for two or three weeks in the keys, hopefully at the Famcamp but possibly at Sugarloaf KOA. Then, the weather will be nice. Changes of attitudes and latitudes!

Just left Bahia Honda 2 weeks ago. It was already getting hot there. High 80's by day mid to high 70's by night. Came home to gray, snow, rain and wind. Wish we were still sweating in the keys. Have fun!
