Suggestions- 1/2 way between Zion & Grand Teton

Looking for RV park suggestions re: a day or 2 stop between Zion & Grand Teton NP. Travelling in 38' MH with 2 dogs. Don't need swimming pools/golf courses, etc. Just a nice setting with FHU

Thanks.

Larry

I've lived in Utah and Wyoming, all around those areas, so might be able to suggest some regions to concentrate your attention. Are you just looking for a reasonable RV park, or also some things to do in the area?

We stayed here last April/May Untitled Document. It is a small park no frills but very good people. It is in Glendale Utah on highway 89. We stayed there when we visited Zion and Brice.

Depending on how many miles a day you drive, halfway is Provo, UT. We have stayed at Lakeside RV Campground - Home on several occasions.

If you stop further south, Beaver KOA is a good stop. Beaver KOA | Camping in Utah | KOA Campgrounds Going north of SLC Golden Spike RV Park in Brigham City is a good choice. Golden Spike RV Park

Hope this helps

X2 on redcolorado. We have stayed there twice, once in a TT and again in a MH. Used it as a base for North Rim of Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce. People that run it are super. The town also has/used to have a really interesting policeman on duty 24/7/365. He was in a police equipped SUV parked on the left on the downside of the hill coming into town from the south. He was a dummy fully dressed as a policeman and sitting behind the wheel. Sure was an attention getter!.
Good luck, good health and safe travels!

Depends on what highway you take to get to Grand Teton. We've taken Hwy 89 all the way and one of the stops for us was Jordanelle State Park near Heber City, Utah.
