We have made several trips we enjoyed, FWIW :

- Nashville, TN (lots of historical / civil war / plantation / museums) within appx 30/40 mile radius. We stayed at Nashville KOA on Music City Dr, so many food & shopping & of course Opryland and other country music buff sites.

- Cave City, KY (Mammoth Cave / civil war / museums) within appx 30-40 mile radius. We stayed at Cave Country RV park, and food / shopping. Also, Corvette Museum is interesting and easy close by.

- Lexington, KY (horse lovers paradise / civil war / museums) within appx 30-40 mile radius. There are state parks, or many like to stay at KY Horse Park campground. I-75 S from Cincy is a great smooth road and makes it easy to stay a bit south of Lexington but still be close for toad trips to city. KY Horse Park is worth at least a day, maybe two.

Others will have good ideas to share I am sure. So, whatever your destination, Safe Travels To All

How about Branson, MO? Lots of shows and attractions and many campgrounds to choose from.

Here's a location we are thinking about for later this year: Pere Marquette State Park in South Western Illinois. Parks

Also, not too far from Alton Illinois just North of the confluence of Missouri and Mississippi rivers Alton, Grafton, Godfrey, Jersey & Calhoun County, IL

Or go over to Springfield, IL and visit the Lincoln Presidential Library/Museum and all the other Lincoln sites.
