Really? Wow.. We really liked our stay there, and I would certainly recommend it. The people were exceptionally friendly for our visit, and we just really liked the layout. We didn't even hear the air plans, but then again, when we stayed there, we spent a lot of time visiting friends too so we weren't bound to the campground much.

We plan on returning.

I have stayed there as well and didn't hear the airplanes either and spent almost all our time outside. It was a little windy for our stay and that may have kept the noise down. It is pricy but nice and where we were - there was lots of room between sites. Never heard the neighbors either.

There were no tress or shade at this spot on the lake - but nice picnic table - grill - fire ring - and a little deck with bench seating at the site. Didn't fish but watched bass boats troll by and pull em out. We live in north Dallas area and is is the nicest place around for a quick get away. JMHO - TMMV

I have stayed at Treetop in Ft Worth as macandphyl recommended. A little old but very good location for what I was doing (NCAA Basketball tournament at Jerry's World). Ft Worth is very large area, so depending on your location I would not hesitate to stay at Treetop again, but we did not use their facilities.

I have also stayed at Vineyard in Grapevine, much nicer park in my opinion but wasn't close to what I was looking for my trip to Ft Worth. As I recall Vineyard was about 20-25 minutes north of Treetop with minimal traffic between the two, so depending on where you would prefer for location.

There is another nice park in Denton, I think it is called Destiny, but a long way if you want to be in Ft. Worth. I have stayed at one in Colony, also a long way from Ft Worth but also very nice, and a couple not very nice other than great location to where I wanted to be in the Dallas Ft Worth area. Good luck!
