Suggestions in the Fort Worth Area?

We're headed to Fort Worth TX next month and are looking for somewhere inexpensive that will welcome my family of six and has a shower. Any ideas?

Check www.rvparkreviews.com
We like Holiday Park (Corp of Eng) on Lk. Benbrook.
In searching, you'll note not that many parks for such a large area/population and "inexpensive" doesn't describe many of them.....

I came across Holiday Park. It was probably the one I'm most interested in. Are there showers available there?

You're right. I was surprised to not find many options in the Fort Worth area.

X2. Didn't use the showers but I'm sure they were available.

Your best bets are Holiday Park or Loyd Park.

You didn't mention if you needed full hookups or not. It's been too long since I have been to Holiday to remember if they had sewer or not.

The website says water/electric. I can probably get by without sewer those nights.

The vineyards in grapevine, NW SIDE OF THE airport. Nice park on the lake .
Nice showers. Full hookup with 50 amp. Bit pricy. $45,55, & $ 65 per night.
Also a good one on the west side of Ft.worth off hwy 30/20. Cowtown RV.park
I think. All depends on your needs and availability in the area. Need to call ahead.

The Grapevine is OK unless the wind shifts and comes out of the north. It's so close to DFW airport that the noise becomes deafening. I've stayed there a couple of times and would avoid it next time.

Cowtown RV on the west side of Ft Worth (actually Aledo TX about 10-12 miles West on I20) is a pretty nice stop...best I've seen in Ft Worth area anyway.

Holiday Park is water and electric with a central dump station.

Loyd park has several full hook-up sites.

Have a close friend who is a full timer, and he thinks Tree Tops is among the best.
