Suggestions on Disneyland RV trip

Family wants to make a Disneyland trip in the fall, around Thanksgiving time. Any suggestions on campgrounds / RV parks to stay at, will probably stay for 3 nights with the motorhome. I've found some places on line, but value the suggestions of the people here on the board with experience.

Thanks in advance!

Which one? Disney land is in California and Disney world is in Florida. If you are talking about the one in Florida, and price is not a problem, then I would stay at fort wilderness inside Disney world. Very nice, very clean and you can get a shuttle from the campground to Disney world.

Anaheim Resort RV Park, site 228 was very nice. Partially shaded. phone # 714-774-3860. We stayed there Labor day 2012. It looked nicer than the others we saw. Wife ran half marathon and it came down Anaheim Blvd about a block away. Would definitely stay ther again.

2 years ago we stayed at Anaheim Harbor RV Resort, and would stay there again. Very clean, manicured, friendly RV park. Their location is very close to Disneyland. 1/2 block outside their entrance, you can catch a city bus to Disneyland, or walk about 3/4 mile to Disneyland, or drive there and pay $10 -$15 to park you POV.
You'll be able to watch the fireworks show every night from out side your RV and they have a coin operated RV wash station, which is kinda cool!

Have fun!

x4 Plus there is a shuttle bus service that goes to Disney. You can pay for a week of use, just don't lose the ticket.

It looks like there ae 5 to 6 RV parks to choose from, so we should have plenty of backup. Going to get a reservation going this week, the kids will be excited!

Just FYI "Anaheim Resort RV Park" and "Anaheim Harbor RV Resort" are two different parks. People are voting up but not telling you which one they are voting for.

I used to live 20 minutes away and have been to both parks. My vote would be for Anaheim Resort RV Park first and a close second would be Anaheim Harbor RV Resort. You will enjoy either one so go with the one that gives you the best deal. Oh yeah ask about reservation and disneyland ticket packages, sometimes you can get good deals that way rather than through a authorized ticket reseller. Be very careful about ticket deals that are too good to be true. There are a lot of cash only ticket people who are selling bogus disneyland passes.

Have fun.

We stayed at the Anaheim RV Park this past summer and it was great...highly recommend it. Shuttle picks you up and drops you off right at the entrance for a nominal fee, the place was VERY clean, and we thought a fair price.

One thing: its kinda hard to get to and a bit tight....the roads, not the spots....they're fine. You have to exit after the park and circle 'round. Not a problem for shorter rigs, but our 40er with a toad was tight.
