Suggestions, The Gorge, Washington

Going to a Labor Day weekend concert at The Gorge in Washington and looking for camp ground suggestions. We have to pickup our daughter at SeaTac who is joining us for the concert so we would like to be kinda between the airport and The Gorge. Have to rent a car and don't like driving after the sun sets. I know it's a lot to ask. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. 😃

Wildhorse in George is ok. There is dry camping for your RV at the concert site, short walk. Wanapum state park was nice, but is at least temporarily closed because of a crack in wanapum dam. I've had friends that stayed at the yakima river rv park, but I've not been there.

have fun

Before pickup at Seatac Joint base Lewis McChord has nice MH RV sites, bad side very close to runway, good side all service related retiree and just a few miles from Seatac. Then EZ routing to the Gorge.

My son in law just spent the weekend at the gorge and apparently they've expanded their rv spots at the gorge. There is a "big rig" area and I guess even an area that overlooks the stage although I heard that for the big 3 day country festival last week it was something like 800 bucks to park there for the weekend.

cresent bar has rv parking, although I'm not sure if the water is down there as it is lower on the river because of the dam problems.

Its been several years since I stayed there, but it was nice. its basically in Quincy, about 20 minutes or half an hour from the gorge.
