Superstition View, Gold Canyon, AZ

Are there any folks out there that have ownership rv casita's at Superstition View RV resort in Gold Canyon Az? If so I would love to hear your feedback and opinion about this resort as a full-time winter location. Is it a good value, do you like the amenities and location? Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi neighbor (Pagosa Springs).

Sorry not to have detailed info you're seeking, but I'd also inquire about any "fees" charged for the spaces. I'm just guessing that they may have "association fees", or other charges such as landscaping or other fees spread over the sites that owners pay annually. There may be fees associated with the "amenities" offered.

Lastly, I'd ask if the lots are sold with ownership, or do they go back to the resort owner after a finite period of time as they are sold as a "lease" over a certain number of years. The ones we've checked into have a multiplicity of ways to keep their cash flow high.

Thanks Joe. I'm aware of most of those fees and pitfalls and have a list of questions for them. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
Maybe a current or past owner will chime it.

I stopped at their booth at the Tampa RV show last week and picked up some literature. Unfortunately, they really don't have details in it and their website is also lacking in specifics. I plan to stop there this summer and check the place out, so I'm also interested in experienced people's observations.

If you're planning to winter there it's good to feel the atmosphere while the snowbirds are there, not during the summer when the place is empty. You'll get to see what the activities are and how friendly the place is.

We are in Sunrise RV Resort, in Apache Junction Az. A very nice park and they have sister park in Gold Canyon, both super nice parks. and also we have not been in that one you mentioned. Wishing you good luck in your choice.

We have wintered in Az and understand how these resorts operate. Superstition View is a manufactured home resort with Rv ports. Still hoping to here from previous or current owners. Thanks for your replies.

I see on their website they have a few pre-owned units for sale .... some of them say they come with 2 yrs. free rent .... any idea what that means ? There is no explanation on their website.

You don't own the land. You pay lease rent. That pays for Hoa, amenities, sewer, trash and yard maintenance I understand it's about $500 a month. I'm hoping to hear from someone who lives there or has lived there that can tell us about accually owning there. I know there are lots of rules and restrictions. Some good some not so much. Kinda like a Dell Web community but for RVer's.lots of facilities and things to do but whats the real cost vs value?

Here's their web site. I'll bet if you call as an interested party they could send you the rules and restrictions.

Oh I've talked to them. I'm just wanting to hear from someone who is actually a resident owner or past owner. I have the rules and regulations also. Thanks. Bill
