Talladega Camping

Looking for recommendations for camping near the speedway, not to sure about the campgrounds on the speedway property.
Any recommendations from people that have camped there would be appreciated.

They have free dry camping in a large area across from speedway entrance. Carried my 40 ft rv one year. Get there a couple days early for a primo spot. Only draw back is it's party central in that area.

We like the reserve South Park A,B, or C family camping area just outside turn 1 & 2 for $105/week. No services but close to a large shower/washroom building and water fill and dump station. Generators make up most of the noise by the weekend but there is a quiet time from midnight to 6:00 am. Also it's only a 10 to 15 minute walk to mid grandstand seating. Also they are a close walk to the turn 2 tunnel entrance to the infield for the free Saturday night party and entertainment.

We have stayed mostly in West Park B at the track. Sites are reserved and spacious.
No hookups, but if you need it, a honey wagon and a water wagon come around many times everyday.
