Hi ThePowells,
We are at Lazy Days and will go to the fair grounds tomorrow with the Newmar rally (200 coaches). We stay on the fair grounds. Consider looking at Newmar coaches while you are at the show. Once you see Newmar, you'll know the difference and can make a decision.

Tampa Show
We are going on Sunday this weekend.

MY question is this ---
We were planning to go by car from our home in Palm Beach Gardens.

However -- my wife had surgery not long ago and wants to travel with the RV and the bathroom.
That means driving the RV -- with / without the TOAD.

Is there somewhere to park the RV at the show -- or near the show?
so maybe 40ft plus toad?

thx Dale

Hi Dale70,
You can park, overnight, on the fair grounds. The easiest gate to enter is on Orient Road west gate. Tell the cashier what you want and they will provide directions. You can also enter via the main gate on Rt 301. Do the same thing with the cashier. You will be boondocking. No services are provided, just a place to park. There is a cost. $14 go get in the parking area. $20/night. And $8/person cost for 2 days entry to the show. Don't quote me on the prices, but they are close.

Please read the following, if you are staying overnight, you are under "Open Registration". :

We'll be there. Staying at LazyDays (full hookups!) and going in tomorrow for Industries Days.

I'm going to hang out on Wed at Entegra just to see what a hooking (or hooked?) wife looks like. Just kidding - I'm going to guess you are still trying to get her convinced to get a new RV.

We stopped at NIRV in Lawrenceville and went through several yesterday. Unfortunately they didn't have anything older that a 2017, but she went into that one and a few new ones (including a Cornerstone that hasn't been prepped yet) . Now I think the problem will be keeping our priorities in order and not moving the coach from 3rd or fourth to FIRST.

Maybe I can get a "I've been hooked" sign on her back like the "Kick me" from the good old days when everybody just carried a pocket knife and never used it when they went out behind the gym 1 on 1.

I don,t need to park overnight --- I will just drive over in the morning and then back in the evening. (about 3 1/2 hours each way from my house). I just need to know that I can park there on the grounds, or do I have to take the TOAD and park at a nearby Home depot or such for the day.

You can park on the fair grounds parking lot. Tell the cashier when you pay the parking fee. Consider entering via MLK BLVD. It is a very easy entry. Stay to the right as you approach the cashier.
