Texas 2014/15 winter

starting my plans for next winter in Texas, planning jan till end of march,
looking for campground/rv park that we can have some fun lots to see and do, our motor home is a fully converted school bus, it looks nice, we are not hippies, both wife and I are in our 50s, looking for full hook ups, and maybe a pool. I figured now is a good time to ask people seeing that its half way into the season and winter Texans have a feel for there rv parks.
we are opened minded and can be anywhere in Texas as long as its warm
thank you

Consider two places that I know of.

1) Rayford Crossing in The Woodlands just north of Houston. AWESOME resort!

2) San Gabriel RV Park in Georgetown Texas.. just north side of Austin. Gorgeous! On a river, and easy access to Austin, Frederickburg, Chappel Hill, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio. No great place is more than 3 hours from here.

Actually, I'm sitting there right now Very nice park in a beautiful area of texas.

A lot of folks winter at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park in Fredericksburg. We normally spend a week in the spring and a week in the fall there and love it. Lots of attractions to see on day trips. Not sure of the monthly rate but the weekly rate is $175.
