We go camping every Thanksgiving to the Thousand Trails park called San Benito.. It is about 15 mins south of Hollister. The weather is perfect and a good time is had by all.....

Lime Saddle State campground, on Lake Oroville, south of the town of Paradise. They have something like 16 sites with elec and water, and a dump station. Nice, quiet, pretty, usually not at all crowded that time of the year...
