The Adventure Begins

Well we finally get to use our new to us (2000 KSDP) which we bought in early Nov. We are heading out of Edmonton Alberta and heading to Louisiana and Texas. This will be the first trip with it so we hope everything works as it should. Looks like we will be headed into some really cold weather in North Dakota and South Dakota but hope it warms up soon. We have gone through all the systems except water because it was winterized before we got it.

That doesn't sound like fun but you're safe and that's good. Don't make any harsh moves. Our weather here down South will wait for you.

Look at the good side. Branson for sure has to be warmer that Alberta. Another day South and you should be in warmer weather. Good luck

I'll be in Branson in two weeks. What campground are you in? We've always stayed at Cooper Creek.

Well we are back I Alberta,10000 plus km and a little over one month. Thru the whole trip we only had one problem with the motorhome (2 springs broke on one leveling jack) the rest was all weather related... high winds on the way down snow in Missouri, high wind most of the time in Tx but that was sort of expected.

We were completely impressed with our Kountry Star in all aspects due to the fact that this was our 1st ever trip with it and it worked great.

Congratulations on your trip and the MH...sounds like you had a pretty good first trip. I must admit your camping sprit is much stronger than mine. I slow down and then freeze up in any temperature below +50 F. Antifreeze doesn't help either. Safe travels.
