Check out ORA rv park in Chokoloskee, Fl 34138 If you like to get away from it all. It is owner/renter with three marinas. You can be on the water and fish off your dock for snook, redfish whatever.

HEY, another Coastie!!!...Hi from Santa Fe. I was a Medical Corpsman with the Coast Guard back in the late 60's, early 70's. (Annette Is. Air Station near Ketchican, /Cow Slip Tender out of Portland, Maine,/Acushnette out of Boston & San Diego, etc.).

Our son is about to retire from the...(shudder...) Air Force down in Tampa where he lives so we DO spend alot of time in Florida and we DO like the fishing down there. Thanks for your tip! We'll check it out.

Steve & Lynette

contact: Ken Brown 239 695 2881 He is the guy who does the renting
ORA Park manager, Jane Nixon, she sells lots, 239 695 3788
This place is very unique, 283 lots, sone are water front and some have their on dock, its in the Ten Thousand Island area of the Everglades National Park, 40 miles from the nearest stoplight in Naples as far south on the west coast as the road goes, right accross from Miami. We had the coldest winter onrecord last year and the hotest summer onrecord this year. Normally the winters are very mild. The snook kill was big last winter so the season is closed this year. Plenty of redfish, trout, and good tarpon fishing. check out ORAGRAY.COM

mike, you might be right but the fishing area is so big and this area is kinda isolated and because of the national and state parks it cannot be encroach on.
