Not the places to be in the winter but the four corner area national parks are mind blowing. There are usually both the national park campgrounds and private parks in the area. So of the ones that really got me going were Mesa Verde NP in Cortes Co, Bryce NP Utah, Zion NP Utah, in Page we camped within 5 feet of the water in Lake Meade. There are slot canyons and other geological formations to see. Than you can go south to the grand canyon both the north and south side. For the up scale one can go south again to Sedona Az. That should keep one traveling for longer than the weather will stay nice.

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is awesome and is the BEST when done in an RV.

Found another awesome RV destination. The Drive-in Theater. It was a blast and we plan on doing it once a month until it closes in September this year. Nothing is better then having your own bathroom and awning during a movie!

To us, full-timing is not about destinations. It's about a new, everyday lifestyle. We pick a small area of the country and explore it thoroughly - all the backroads. Typically, we do not stay in RV parks but utilize the various public parks available - national parks, national forests, COE, state parks, county and city parks. We also volunteer for those kinds of parks so we can actually live in beautiful surroundings and help out the parks themselves. We're able to explore every inch of the national parks and that's awesome!
