When our two kids were small every year, just before we went on vacation (camping upnorth) both of them always came down sick. We would go anyway and they always, amazingly, got better within a day.
Ask your wife--and her doctor-- if it is ok to go. If not, work on your itinerary together. Places to go, things to see, Rv parks to stay at, What is packed and where in each compartment, Lists and lists of things that must be taken care of before leaving. Once the two of you have done all this you both can relax when you finally hit the road.
