Can anyone comment on Eagle RV Park in Thermopolis or recommend another camp in/near Thermopolis?

I can't comment on the RV parks in or near Thermopolis but I've been there and recommend it. I had a great time while there. It's a very small town so I'd guess there aren't a lot of choices there. If there aren't any other places to stay, I'd say go for it and if it's not good you don't have to stay for long.

Have fun. Wish I was there again.

I didn't stay there either but I stopped the MH at the City owned hot spring indoor pool and it was free and wonderful.

We stayed at Eagle last year. No problems. Would stay again. Didn't use the facilities as we're self contained. Some sites are a little tight but we fit the 40' MH and toad on our site with no problem. Convenient to Wind River Canyon and the Hot Springs. Be sure to visit Wyoming Whiskey distillery in Kirby just north of Thermopolis

I haven't been there in many years, but the owner of the Holiday Inn in Thermop used to be a hunter and there were some incredible mountings in the lobby and restaurant. Wind River Canyon has to be one of my most favorite drives in Wyoming. Can't comment on the park though. Sorry.

We usually dry camp at Boysen State Park. It is right on the river. There is water available and pit toilets. Many sites are shaded. The train tracks run on the far side of the river. But they don't run that many train. Nice drive up to the town. There are several campgrounds in the park. We usually stay at the lower campground. Good spot to fish for rainbows.
