Three week Six Flags Trip

I am trying to take the kids to as many Six Flags parks as possible. I will be starting in Memphis TN heading to St. Louis, then Chicago, over to California and ending in Texas. Are there any worth while places I should stop it or good campsites? I will be traveling with 4 kids ages 10 to 14. I will also stop over in Colorado.

I suggest you have reservations in California during the summer months and the sooner you make them the better it will be.

For your Texas stop, keep in mind we've had some recent flooding. If the campsite you're considering is on a lake, it is likely still underwater. Be sure to call first!

Cedar Hill state park in Cedar Hill, Texas is not very far from Six Flag over Texas in Arlington, Tx (@15-20 mins). It's a very large state park (second largest in the state) that lots of campsites so you should not have a problem finding space. The campsite are large and the area is beautiful. They have some full connection sites but I believe the majority are water and electric. More info at Cedar Hill State Park — Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. Are you visiting Arlington, San Antonio or both?

Btw, we are planing to do a Six Flag tour except we are leaving Texas and traveling up the east coast through Memphis and Nashville to DC, Philadelphia, NYC, Boston and Niagra.

Have fun!

Did you go up in the Arch in St Louis? I got a good T shirt there with my name on it...
