Tiffin Repair Facility and CG

Can anyone tell me approximately how long the backlog is at the Tiffin repair facility? Also, how's the chances for a full service site at the CG?

We're heading that way next week for some warranty work.

Thanks,

The service facility gets more crowded in spring and fall because of nicer weather and because of snowbirds. Plan to arrive early afternoon on Saturday for the best chance at getting a site with hookups. If you arrive mid-week, you will likely get put in the overflow boondocking area until a site becomes available. They usually try to clear out as many people as they can by the weekend, so Saturday is a good day to arrive.

Tiffin has 3 levels of service - 1) work that can be done at your site; 2) express service that requires a service bay that can be done in 3 hours or less; and 3) service that requires a service bay that will take more than 3 hours.

Even when they're busy, you should be able to get 1) & 2) service in less than a week. Regular service can take several weeks depending on what it is and how busy they really are.

Thanks for the info. I am aware of the system down there as we have been there a number of times. I was just trying to get some info from someone who is down there now. Tiffin usually gets slugs of rigs after the spring and fall rally's and I was wondering how things were there right now. About a week and a half ago they were full and quoting 2-3 weeks for work but they may have cleaned some of that out by now. As our arrival time gets closer I'll call the CG office, just for more info, but they try real hard to stay away from the maintenance side of the house.
