Tight Quarters

We are staying at the Paradise by The Sea RV Park, Oceanside, Ca. Second stay here, we returned for a couple reasons. Friends in the area, many restaurants with super good food. The one thing I forgot is how tight the spaces are. Park is exceptionally clean, staff great to work with. The close quarters makes it feel like being squeezed into a sardine can. I know it was that way on the past visit, but just don't recall it. Slides extended on both sides and neighbors slides extended there is maybe5 or 6 feet separation. Anyways, When here, there is little time spent in coach as we are out and about for most of the day. We have stayed at Mission Bay RV Park by San Diego, it was ok also. Next time, think I'm going to check bit deeper for more space Happy Travels..

Check out Chula Vista RV Resort, or Santee Lakes.

Would have to agree with the above suggestions, Chula Vista RV Resort is on the bay and near restaurants, etc. While Santee Lakes is about 20 miles inland, it is also a nice park. Santee can get hot in the summer. Another great spot is the San Diego Metro KOA in Chula Vista, it is just a couple of miles inland from the other Chula Vista resort, but has a very nice park setting with lots of trees and much more room than Chula Vista RV resort.
We like all 3 parks and stay at each one a couple of times a year.

We stayed at Paradise by The Sea RV Park last year with our grandson when we took him to LegoLand.

I liked that RV Park because it was a short walk to the ocean and the pool was great for our grandson.

Yes, it is tight but I've been in worse.

During July and August you can't be too choosy and I was lucky to get a space.

Normally we stay at the Elks in Oceanside but it was booked up.

Like your thinking regarding Chula Vista KOA. Went to the website and I think we will give them a try next time in that area. Thanks for the information.
