Homeless,
TLC Wolf River Resort is a Coast-to-Coast Premier Park so if you are a Coast-to-Coast member the cost will be reduced depending upon your membership level. This park is my "home" park for Coast-to-Coast so I am very familiar with it. TLC is the initials of the owners of the park, Tim & Lynn and their last name is the "C". The owners and the entire staff are very friendly and I think they are very diligent about maintaining the park to a high standard. There are plenty of shaded spots in the back 2/3rds of the resort. Many sites are along a natural bayou as you can see on their website. They have 30 & 50 amp sites, quite a few pull-through sites, and I think most if not all sites have water & sewer hookups. They have WiFi and they sell propane & ice by the office. There is no cable TV but you can pick up a number of channels through your antenna. The only drawback (and it is a minor one in my opinion) is the park can be dusty if it is real dry because all of the roads in the resort are gravel.
The campground is easily accessible from I-10 and is only about 3-4 miles from the exit. The railroad crossing near the I-10 is low and is no problem to cross with a motorhome or camper. However, you should be aware that there is a second railroad crossing between the resort and the Mississippi Beaches alongside Hwy. 90 that is much higher and has steep approach and departure roadways. Cars and Pickups go over it easily but I believe a motorhome or camper would be damaged and possibly disabled trying to cross those tracks.
