To Tip or not to tip

Hi everyone! I have a question for you. When you pull into an RV resort where the host takes you to your site and guides you in and out.....are you suppose to tip?

No........Most places are doing the escort service to make sure you get to the right site, and don't back over any of their equipment on the site. And to say........."Let us know if you need anything".
Just the proper procedure for today's resorts/campgrounds.
It is a wonderful gesture on their part and very professional............should be part of every place one visits.

Outside of food servers in a sit down restaurant .....nope I don' t tip.

Course I didn't grow up in the 'big city' where it seems the 'norm' to tip just about everybody.
Tipping is a practice I just don't understand.

I have been the guy in the golf cart and never expected a tip. It is just part of being the camp host...

I recently offered a tip and was kindly refused. "This is my job and I love it." I still think it is optional.

I tip most service people but not CG hosts. I do offer them a bottle of water which some might consider a tip .

I wouldn't tip but I'm the worst in judgement on who I should tip and shouldn't tip.

Most of the escorts are paid employees, so no tip required.

I've never even thought of it to be honest, but I wouldn't offer a tip to a camp host, seems to be overkill IMHO.
