Tom Sawyers in W.memphis Ak.

We stayed at this park two years ago. Was a nice park. Level, roomy sites .
Just a few yards off the Mississippi River. Was great watching the barges
on the river. We got some thing extra tho.
"CHIGGARS"!! Had heard about them, but never experienced the first
hand and not wanting to again. We never went I to any tall grass, or
walked back in to woods. Has any one else experienced this at this park....??
Thank you in advance

I stayed there in early July of this year. The dust in the park was truly unbearable!!! The cooling fans on my coach really stirred up a dust storm. The people there were really nice, but I would hesitate to stay there again until they do something to reduce the dust. As for the chiggers, I'm quite sure that they all choked to death during my visit...

Tom Sawyer RV Park

We have stayed at Tom Sawyers for a week the last three years. Never had a problem with dust or chiggers. Must be just the luck of the draw on weather, humidity, etc. We think it is a great place to stay. Watching the Mississippi River traffic is just fantastic!! The food and things to do and see in Memphis is just great!! Plan on going back this year.
