M_R,
Not sure how far close is for you. Our favorite is 23 miles south at Bisbee. It has WE&S and is over looking very quaint colorful old Bisbee and a huge very colorful pit mine. The ride between the 2 is also very scenic. I believe it is called Copper Queen RV park.

I've seen CGs closer to Tombstone too but specifics escape me right now.

Marty

There are several in Tombstone. We stayed in one backed on the main restored street. Had a grand time and hardly drove the toad at all except to visit Boot Hill and Brisbee. Will try to find the name.

We, too, stayed in a campground within walking distance of everything in Tombstone. I think the name was the "Stampede".

Have fun and be sure to see the "shoot out" - it's a hoot!

There are also several CG's at Benson Az, not to far from Tombstone just a nice ride in the country side.
