Tombstone, AZ RV Park

We stayed at Tombstone RV Park & Resort last week for a few nights. The current owner bought the property the first week in September and is upgrading it quite extensively. New gravel, split rail fencing, great pool, etc. He is there on-site everyday supervising the work and doing some himself. It was an older worn out KOA many years ago and the previous owner had let it go. However, that appears to be changing and Scott, the new owner, has a great personality and drops by on his golf cart regularly to be sure everything is OK.

The sites are very spacious with long pull throughs available. Electric, water, and sewerage was all just fine. Some highway noise but not bad at night. Scott offers a shuttle into town if needed. It is about 1 mile north of Tombstone on Highway 80. The other parks in town are quite small and not to inviting having crowded spaces.

I know this sounds like paid advertising but it is not. We were just impressed with what Scott is doing to this park and thought we would pass it on to those who might winter in this area. I had read some bad reviews about it in the past.

This will be a park we will visit again when in that area.

Don

???

A web search yields:
1.) Tombstone RV Park & Campground.
2.) Tombstone Territories RV Park".
3.) Tombstone Hills RV park& Resort".

.......But NO "Tombstone RV Park & Resort".

What is the correct name of the place you stayed at "for a few nights"??
(BTW, a link would be helpful).
Thanks

Glad to provide a link, Mr. Mel. It is below. The "correct" name of the place we stayed is what I stated. However, it is quite possible that he is reworking the website since I clicked on it and got a "page error" message.

He must be "reworking" his phone number also, because it is "not in service".
A web search for "Tombstone RV Park & Resort" finds nothing but this Google map, (with the same useless phone #):
Tombstone RV Park & Resort LLC :: Tombstone, Arizona :: RV Park Reviews
Is that the place??

Since I can't find anything on the www, (except that map and 1-3 year old reviews at rvparkreviews.com)... NO website....NO working phone #.... my conclusion is:
There must no longer be a RV park with the name "Tombstone RV Park & Resort"??

Mel, I stand corrected. The information on the business card he gave me is as follows.

Scott Dolman
Tombstone RV Park & Campground
1475 Arizona Route 80, Tombstone, AZ 85638

520-457-3829
800-348-3829

I believe there was an old sign on the property I saw that said Tombstone RV Park & Resort but that is not the name now.

We met Scott at his other RV Park in the Caldwell, ID area, called Country Corners. He has turned it into a really beautiful RV park. He told us he was finalizing the deal in Tombstone and planned to make it a really nice place. He is a really nice fellow and we plan to visit Tombstone in January.
