Thinking about heading to Pigeon Forge for Thanksgiving. Will it be too cold?

I have been there many times at thanksgiving. The weather will be fine. It will be the traffic that will be a little much.

I don't know anything about Twin Creek.

I like this place. Riveredge RV Park - Pigeon Forge campground and cabin rentals

Earl,

You might want to wait until next May, The BOA National Rally is being held there:

I find too cold to be a relative term. For me anything above zero around Thanksgiving is good. Of course anything over 73 is just too hot, 80s way too hot, 90s dangerously hot, 100s I must have ended up in he!!. Sorry couldn't resist.

If you want to be in the mountains away from all the noise and hustle but still close by to the attractions then I suggest here:

Cove Creek RV Resort (PA)
3293 Wears Valley Rd
Sevierville TN, 37862
Toll Free: (877) 570-2683

Beautiful place surrounded by mountains and a creek running through it and great people that take care of the place. The road into PF has all kinds of restaurants, shops and things to see and do. Check it out.

We stayed in Pigeon Forge two years ago and way too crowded. Last year stayed at the Townsend KOA which is few miles away from the crowds.

We stayed three weeks this summer at Up The Creek. It is in my top three RV parks in the south! Not much there but good clean quiet well thought out camp. It is outside of the traffic too.

Pigeon Forge at Thanksgiving will be fine, however there might be snow up top of Smoky Mtn Nat'l Park.

We are a Passport America member and like Creekside RV Park. Clambough is also a Passport America Park. Another nice campground is Kings Holly haven. These campgrounds are off of Rt 321 between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. Townsend also has a nice campground but a bit to pricey for me however Townsend is a neat town to visit and explore.

Enjoy!

Rivers edge is a little close together, twin rivers the river lots are pretty sloped, koa is next door to the old mill and trolly stop but a little pricey for premium sites.
