While I havn't been to TopSail in a couple of years, I have been there about 5 or 6 times. There is no place close to the beach. Its about a miles from the beach. In order to get to the beach, you have to catch a tram run by the park. We have never done the tram/tractor, we usually take the car to the beach. Anywhere in the back section near the water fountain is nice, in fact just about anywhere is nice. Especially in the water fountain area. Really a nice park. It was developed by private concern and the Govt took it over and gave it to the state to run. This is the reason it is so RV friendly. Enjoy s/Toby
