Topsail Hill or Gulf State Park?

We have been to Gulf State Park and loved it! Which do you prefer?

We like both for different reasons. We will leave next week for four nights at Gulf State Park. We like riding all the trails on our bikes. We then will go over to Topsail for two weeks. On the way a must is stopping by Joe Patti's Seafood in Pensacola. Love Topsail for the sites (back section) and riding the trail down to the beach. The beach is never crowded, over three miles of beach with few people. Santa Rosa Beach area on Hwy. 30A has a lot of good places to eat or you can go West into Sandestin and Destin. Both places are great.
Sometimes we will leave Topsail and head further East past Panama City to Apalachicola, Carrabelle, what I refer to as "the old Florida". The entire Panhandle is a great area to RV.

I like GSP being it is spread out more. We have stayed at Topsail once and GSP 4 times. We are at GSP right now and it is very empty.

We live about 60 miles east of there. Love Topsail but hard to get a spot in the summer. To answer the cold weather question, we get down to the 20's sometimes in Dec. thru Feb but mostly lows are in the 30's and 40's

Both are great. Topsail has better beach, little bit better shade. GS is closer to resturants. Can't go wrong with either!

As mentioned in a previous post we are at GSP now. The ants this time are horrible, where on our previous three trips we had no issues. My brother had them invade his travel trailer big time.
