Topsail Hill Preserve, Florida to Charleston, SC Route suggestions

We'll be leaving Topsail Hill Preserve FL on Feb 21, 2017 and have about 4 or 5 days to work our way up to Charleston, SC. The dates are still somewhat flexible at this time. We'll be towing a 30 ft travel trailer. Does anyone have any suggestions of a nice route with things to see or do along the way? Any campground suggestions? We prefer hookups - no boondocking unless absolutely necessary. We're looking for a relaxing drive with an upper limit of 325 miles a day but preferably no more than around 250 miles.

We tend to like the outdoors or historical sites but are open to other suggestions. Thanks everyone!

We stayed at the Oak Plantation Campground and found it to close to the city and it had high speed internet and full cable. The dog run was large and our furry one had a great time as well...

I'd make my way up to Thomasville, Ga., then take US-84 to connect with I-95 near Richmond Hill. Then, if you're not going into Savannah, take I-95 north until the turnoff to US-17 south of Yemassee, and take US-17 on towards Charleston. You'll come to Oak Plantation first then eventually the turnoff south to James Island County Park. Do not give in to any urge to take Maybank Hwy.

Some CGs are Laura Walker SP southeast of Waycross, Ft. McAllister SP east of Richmond Hill, and Camp Lake Jasper just north of Hardeeville.

Unfortunately in that neck of the woods what's to see is pine trees and you're going to see one or two of them. LOL
