Travel to Silverton, Ouray, Teluride Co.

Looking to spend time in this area next summer, we've been there before and love it. But I wonder if we have missed something that maybe you all may know of. We have done Jeep day trips from Ouray. We have never been to Teluride. We have taken the Durango to Silverton train.

What all have you folks done that you would consider "don't miss" in this area. What camping do you prefer? Full hook-ups are not important to us.
Oh, by the way we are traveling in a 35' motor home, but I don't tow.

We have camped in Silverton at the campground in town a couple of times. Nice to be able to walk to dinner and visit the sites. The town gets crowded when the train is there, but when the train leaves it is really nice. We were there last Summer and there was a band festival that was really neat. Look on the town website for what is going on for the time you are going to be there. Since you are not towing, you should look into renting a Jeep and enjoying the high country trails. We are into geocaching and there are a lot of them in the vicinity.
