Travelling South From Maine

My wife and I will be leaving Maine the end of October to head south to Virginia Beach. I think I will plan to drive a maximum of 8 hrs the first day, which would put me at the south end of the NJ turnpike. Does anyone know or would recommend an RV campground in the area or vicinity?
Thanks

We frequently travel from Maine, but use I-84/I-81. Happy to provide overnight options via this route - PM me if interested.

South Jersey campground.

Do you need or want a campground? Since I live in southern NJ I can recommend several places to hang out over night or some campgrounds. I was fortunate to do a trip to the Maine coast this summer and loved it. Not sure what route you're taking to Virginia Beach but can recommend a nice drive if interested. Spent a fair amount of time in Norfolk in the Navy and traveled from this area often.

Put the app RVPARKY in your phone and you will never be without a place to stay.
