Hershey is worth stopping at if you enjoy amusement parks or chocolate at Chocolate World

My wife's Aunt lives in a very small town called Uniontown. Her family was in the coal industry for many years. Her Aunt is almost 95 years old.

Sorry for late reply.

We are likely going to Helen Ga for the first part of our trip, then up the east coast. Last fall we went to NC and Blue Ridge Parkway. Want to change it up this fall.

Falling water is up the mountain from Uniontown a few miles, Pittsburgh is 30 miles away lots of stuff in Town just avoid rush hour going in & out is an sob to navigate. Couple casino around if a gambler.

Convenient to DC area, but not exactly to Uniontown, I do like spending a day at Longwood Gardens, and down the road, the Brandywine River Museum of Art. Look them up on Google Maps. Also, Wilmington, Delaware area has many Museums that I enjoy. I am sure everyone will enjoy Longwood Gardens.

When we went to Falling Waters, we stayed at the Jellystone Park in Mill Run.

Harpers Ferry is another great stop and there is a KOA close by. We also love Shenandoah NP and stay in Big Meadows.

Drive safe!

Dont think there is a KOA in uniontown.

closest KOA I know off of I-70 about 15 miles from uniontown,
Madison / Pittsburgh S.E. KOA 764 Waltz Mill Rd, Ruffs Dale, PA 15679 (724) 722-4444

near OHIOPYLE STATE PARK is Kentuck Campground they show full hookups

you will find Benner's Meadow Run Camping &Cabins but i think is all locals with permanent camps there, call to check, it would be the closest to uniontown
