Trip from Illinois to Catskills and back on different route

We are heading out 3rd week of June and arriving back home July 2nd. Want to hit Football hall of fame in Canton, then on to Niagara Falls. Then head to Cooperstown to see Baseball hall of fame. Would like to stay somewhere in the Catskills for several days. Staying on Cape Cod 4 days and then heading back. Any suggestions on places to see or stay on way back to Illinois? We will have about 4-5 days on return trip. Thanks

Rip Van Winkle Campground in Centerville. Large sites, not on top of each other. We used this place as a seasonal for several years. Check out the Village of Woodstock, plenty of hiking trails, and the Saugerties lighthouse.

Safe travels!

I would swing into Fall river Mass and see Battleship Cove and the USS Massachusetts. This can be a day long event with lots of walking.

Assume you are running I-90 outbound. Coming back drop south of the Finger Lakes. If you have a towed Watkins Glen is interesting if it is not race week. The Curtis Museum and the boat museum in Watkins Glen are both interesting. Winery tours can be educational.

We camped at Ferenbaugh several years ago. It can handle you but no idea on wifi. Did Camp Bell in Campbell last year. Decent transit sites and good wifi. Ditto the KOA in Westfield NY on the way in.
