Trip planning

We are getting ready to take a trip from California to the east coast. Good Sam used to have a very user friendly trip planner that gave turn by turn directions and mileage and hours on the road. They changed the format showing only on a map. Freetrip.com had/has the old format, but does not seem to exist anymore.
Is there a website that shows turn by turn directions, hours on the road and miles?

I just planned a 3300 mile trip on the good sam trip planner and it gives you all the directions turn by turn. it also breaks down miles and gas usage between stops with attractions gas station and camp grounds. you need to be a good sam member to use it.

I use both a Garmin RV760LMT and the Map function on my iPad. The iPad shows turn by turn direction and mileage.

We just returned home to CA from a similar trip. If you, find yourself in the North East, check out EZ Pass before you go. It is a transponder that will save you time and money if you travel on toll roads.

Have a great time!

Thanks for your comments. I like to plan my trips with known miles or hours on the road. Point A to Point B might be 11.5 hours on the road. With the old site,
I could see where 6 hours on the road was located and then search for campsites. It also allowed to "continue trip" from last stop on to next with full calculation of length and time of next trip leg as well as summary of total trip....

Take a look at truckmiles.com to see if it meets your requirements. It will not direct you onto roads unsuitable for HDT's or MH's.
