Yep , If I wanted to take the risk of crossing with a load of 222's on board I could probably pay for my trip, by selling them, for a profit , when I got south.
Not a prescription item here in Canada. Considered a " Controlled item " have to go to the pharmacist and ask for them , then listen as they explain the dangers and possible side effects.

Picture of road sign on the route to the Gaspe along the Gulf of St. Lawrence, road is carved out of the base of the cliff ; in many places, fantastic views in good weather; but not the place to be during a storm.
And of course it didn't come through

We decided to stay in the states going to Maine, leaving Mi to the NY finger lake region. Then to upstate NY, crossing lake Champlain by ferry to Vermont. I mention this because of the beautiful scenery on the way to Maine. All that was mentioned about the coast of Maine was proven to us! A few places we view as must see are among the mentioned plus Boothbay, and Bath and you will probably add to the list. ENJOY!!

Trying again. Picture shows , sign and means that at high tide during storms there is a danger of being swept off the road by waves.
Check the weather before travelling this route.

We are planning 4 nights at Bar Harbor18th to 22nd August.
Can't get into a 50 amp site that I can find at Bar Harbor
If we go to Smugglers Den in South West Harbor will that be a disadvantage??
There are 4 of us with a toad and want to make the most of the area.

I can get a 30 amp site at Koa but there are 4 of us and I'm thinking if we need to run 2 air cons and my Cheater doesn't work well we'll just be in trouble
I thought if its not inconvenient I'd rather have 50 amps

We spent about a week at Timberland Acres in Trenton, ME. Very close to Acadia NP. Big rig friendly. 50 amps.
Welcome to Timberland Acres RV Park

We did a trip from New Mexico to the Maritimes last September. We crossed into Canada at I-81 in New York after spending a couple of nights in the must see Thousand Islands area. We stayed at a nice CG in the Clayton area called Merry Knoll. From there we crossed very quickly into Canada and went to Quebec City where we stayed at Camping Transit in Levis for three nights. From there we worked our way through New Brunswick to PEI where we stayed at the KOA near Charlottetown for about 5 nights. We then took the ferry to Nova Scotia and spent about 3 nights in the Cape Breton area at the Baddeck Cabot Trail CG. We then proceeded to the Halifax area and back through New Brunswick into Maine where we stayed in the Lubec area for a couple of nights (Sunset Point RV). At this location we visited Campobello Island and West Quoddy Head SP. Having previously been to Acadia NP we elected to bypass it on this trip. Our return home took us through NH and PA where we visited family. We were pleased with the previously mentioned RV parks.

Try The Moorings in Belfast 50 minutes south of Acadia. Its not a big fancy resort but its centrally located very clean and its right on the water with great views. Check out the review in the campground forum on this web site.

You have a lot to choose from!

How about one more?

Eastport Windjammers. Half the price of Bah Hawbah, and better scenery, longer ride.
