Trip to Yosemite National Park

We are leaving Phoenix, Arizona heading to Yosemite National Park the end of July and then up to Eugene Oregon. There will be two 40' rigs looking for suggestions on RV parks along the way. Most I have seen are only for up to 35'.

Thank
Gary

Grovelnd, Calif. can accommodate you, we stayed there a couple of weeks ago and we are 44 ft. With a tow. You will be 22 miles from the RVpark to the entrance. Beware very crooked roads getting. To Groveland.

Staying at the Coarsegold KOA right now. Not fancy but nice enough. Take the route through Fresno on 131? I think that was the off ramp. Make reservations now if possible.

While visiting Yosemite, if you find yourself traveling the east side of the park(395), I can recommend staying in Lee Vining at Mono Vista RV. It's located about a mile from the road(120) leading to Yosemite's east gate...the drive up from 395 is very scenic.

The campground is on the outskirts of town where there's a couple of good restaurants and Mono Lake is nearby. The ghost town of Bodie is an eerie visit into the past and worth the price of admission. Lots of Jeep roads.

Beware, Mono Vista is not a 'one night stay' type of CG...you'll want to stay longer - I wish all CG's were like this one.
