Tuba City Az. campgrounds

Tuesday we plan to leave Mesa, Az. going to Moab, Ut. We would like to overnight in the Tuba City area. The only RV park in the area seems to be Quality Inn & Rv. Are there any more ? 40' Class A with a towd.

Thank you
WoJo

We were through there a couple of years ago, and I don't recall there being another option -- but the Quality Inn's park is not bad for a brief stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I would go a littler further to Page for much better overnighting spots.

We stayed in Tuba City about 6 years ago at the Quality Inn. I can only say that we were glad we had our GSD with us. If you are going through (or by) Monument Valley I believe there is a nice campground there.

On Highway 89 just a little South of the 160 turn-off to Tuba City is Cameron. The Cameron Trading POst is on the left (West ) side of 89 and on the East side is their campground. It's NOT a resort but a basic CG that's easy to get in and out of. It's better than Quality INn in Tuba City.
Enjoy Moab. Good CG there is OK RV Park (Passport America)

We stayed in the park in Tuba City last July, decent park and the only game in town. We thought about staying a week but the town looks rough.
Nice RV park in Monument Valley as mentioned.
