Tunica and Biloxi

We want to take a trip in the spring and wondered about campgrounds in Tunica and Biloxi. I did a search but was looking for more up to date info. We enjoy casinos and golf. Any info would be appreciated. We have a used class A and we have only taken on short trip. Everything went great and we a ready for a longer trip in the spring.

Howdy. Are you familiar with RVPARKREVIEWS.COM? There's lots of great info there. We haven't been to Tunica, but we like the Hollywood Casino RV Park in Bay St.Louis, MS. The campground is very nice, paved and level sites, with a clean bathhouse. Sites are not too close for comfort, with picnic tables and BBQ grills. They also pick up garbage at the sites twice daily and there is a shuttle that runs to the casino throughout the day and evening. (Though the casino is in easy walking distance across a huge parking lot.) We like the casino buffet, too.

There are 3 parks in Tunica (Robinsonville) and we have stayed at all of them. They are all good parks and we particularly like the Mid-South park but would stay at any of them. Our most recent stay was the summer of 2011 and at that time the Sam's Town park was closed because of flood damage.

If you want to walk to the casino then you should choose either Hollywood or Sam's as they are right on the casino property. The golf course is next to both of them as well. We love the area and have been there several times the past few years. We have also used the area to visit Memphis which is only about 25 miles away.

BTW, there are about 9 casinos in the area so have a great time!

If you have a toad to go to the casinos with and don't mind a 30 minute drive down 55 from the casinos and a little over an hour from Beale st, go to Enid Lake - just got back from a week there...

quiet, gee-or geous with the fog over the lake and deer eating in our sites !

stay out @ the point on sites 72 or 44 IIRC ?!?

We were not going to tow anything so it sounds like one of the 3 near the casinos would be best for us. We were in Memphis this summer and ran down to the casinos. That's why we are interested. We went to the casinos three times while we were in Memphis and three different casinos comped our meals. The golf courses looked really nice too. Again thanks for the info.

The Mid-South casino does have a shuttle service to the casino which passes through the park frequently. You can walk to the casino from either Sam's or Hollywood.
