If you use Google Maps, satellite view, you can zoom in and see the highways you are interested in. If you drag the little 'yellow man' in the lower right corner to a section of the highway, you can get a street view and simulate driving down the road.

Where are you coming from? Those roads vary a great deal in different areas. Range from decent secondary road, to not all that wonderful secondary.

There's a great RV Park at Turning Stone. We have had many RV outings there, the 500 loop is great for a large gathering. Turning Stone is right off the Thruway which is one of New York's better roads if you don't mind the Tolls. Motorhomes travel at the same rate as cars if you have EZ-Pass.

And you supply proof of a MH to them.

It is not automatic.

We are also interested in going to Turning Stone. Some of the reviews mention tree branches in and around the campground causing problems. Are low hanging branches really a problem?

Stayed in the 400 section with no problem. I liked 437 it was a large site no problems ith trees. I just posted at another thread, 425-438 are the big sites.
