We spent 4 nites in this "moma and pops" spot.
It's just off I-10 30 miles east of Houston.
Hope you enjoy the highway noise, it's one of the closest parks to a highway we've seen.
Highway noise all the time.

It was a mud hole when we were there 2/08.
The owners seamed nice but watch out for the residents. they act like your invading there turf.

We found several nicer parks in the Bay Town Area and wished we had not made this reservation for 4 nites.

Sorry but we will not return to this one.
(scale of 1 to 10, it gets a 4, 10 being the best).

We stayed there Feb 15/16 for 2 nights and I must agree about being a mud hole, but we were there during 2 days of thunder storms and tornado warnings. When we left after no rain for about 12 hours only one spot that was muddy.
We also stayed in lower area on the east side and all that group on the west side pond went out of their way to guide us thru the mud at the bottom of the hill.
I would give them a second chance only if it hasn't rain for about a week.
