Twin Cities area camping

We are traveling from California to the east coast with 3 45' motorhomes and would like to spend 2 nights in Minneapolis/St Paul area. Our plan is to arrive
Thursday Sept 1 and depart Saturday Sept 3. We are having trouble finding space as it is start of Labor Day weekend. Any unknown nice campgrounds?
We could dry camp for 2 days if needed. We have dogs and prefer hookups
to keep them cool.

Check out these:

Carver County, MN : Baylor Regional Park Campground

I don't know what the size restrictions are.

These two are in relatively safe area's in relation to crime.

Our favorite is Town & Country RV Park, in Savage, south of Minneapolis. Home - Town & Country RV Park and Campground

Also check out Dakotah Meadows. Dakotah Meadows RV Park About $40, a little farther out, south-west of Twin Cities. It's part of the Mystic Lake Casino. Mystic Lake Casino Hotel | Let's Go

There is a great campground on the east side of St. Paul in the suburb of Lake Elmo. Far away from any traffic and noise, in the middle of a county park.

That one is pretty OK. The Casino there should provide plenty of entertainment, and if you feel cold, you could do to one of the two nuclear power plants in the Twin Cities area! It is located right next to the camp ground.
If you want to visit the Cities during your stay, it is about an hours drive or so to downtown.
