We stayed there last year. Not really impressed. Lots of low tree branches and dirt, which turns to major mud when it rains. We drove through the KOA next door and when we go to Nashville again, will stay there in their premium sites.

We have stayed there probably 6 different times on our way to Louisiana and on our return trip to NJ. We just stayed there for a mini vacation and loved it. We stay in the back where they have large pull thru sites with gravel. Sites are level, friendly staff and a very good daily price.

Two Rivers, Jellystone, and the KOA are all next to each other on the same road. I have been in all three and I always thought the KOA was the nicest of the three but none were bad. Plus the KOA has recently been renovated but we haven't stayed there since the remodel. All three have shuttles going downtown to Broadway.

Another alternative is Nashville Shores Water Park. They have an RV park. We stayed there in March when we went to a wedding. We picked Nashville Shores because it was down by the airport on the Southeast side of Nashville near where the wedding was. It seemed ok, nothing I'd rave about. I don't know how crowded it is in the summer, when we went the water park was closed.

We stay at the KOA because it suits us better with site size, satellite friendly, etc. The Downtown Shuttle stops at all three of the campgrounds on Music Valley Drive along with the hotels around that area. $10 round trip and it drops you off/picks you up at the Country Music Hall of Fame and it is just a short walk to Broadway and all the bars. That way you can enjoy a libation, listen to some great music, and not have to worry about driving (and in our case) parking a big vehicle.
