This past looooong Thanksgiving weekend my wife and I decided to go to the above stated RV park instead of going to the Gatlinburg area. I just wanted to pass on my experience there.
The park was very clean and the camp site was concrete (level). The cost was $20.00 per night. We are Good Sam's members and got a discount off of that. We didn't gamble enough to get comped though. We did get a breakfast and lunch comped. We didn't have any neighbors on either side for several sites. The big thing that we really enjoyed was "NO KIDS" running loose and making a lot of noise, quiet, real quiet. We kinda figured that there would be few kids as it being a casino and we were right. That's one reason we decided to go to Tunica instead of the Gatlinburg area. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend.
Only down side, the morning we were packing up (Sunday) it was in the low 40s and lots of rain. The water build up around the hook-ups was about 3 inches deep. I had to disconnect in my flip-flops as I only brought one pair of shoes. I also winterized the trailer while there. So, I spent a little more time outside than I normally would. My toes got very cold. I noticed that there were a few sites that were a little flooded, like ours was.
Bottom line, we really liked it there and WILL go back in the future.
