Vail Lake Resort

Has anyone been to Vail Lake Resort in Temecula, Ca. lately, and what did you think of the place.

Retired from Temecula. When I'm in the area now, I stay at Pechanga.

How "lately" do you mean? I was there a year ago (I've camped there about 4 times over the last few years). I feel it's a good place for a quick weekend trip for us locals. Not a lot to do there, but is a good place to get the kids out of the house and camping. Also, be advised... there is no lake there. Vail Lake is a private lake a few minutes away. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for.
