Hi all!

My family and I are looking for a campground near Valdosta for a overnight stop on the way to Orlando and Ft Wilderness. Can anyone make any recommendations? We would probably be pulling in around 10 or 11 pm.

Thanks!!

Matt

We recently stayed at Eagles Roost, just south of Valdosta...Lake Park. Back row, area behind the office building. Concrete slabs. Shaded. We'll definitely use again for overnight. Stayed 2 nights. https://www.eaglesroostresort.com/

Whatever you do, make sure you call to see if it is ok to arrive that late. Being delayed is one thing. A planned 11:00 pm arrival is another. That is late for a lot of folks and usually within quiet hours. Maybe a Walmart might be a better idea.

Yup2, Eagles roost, late arrivals just pick a site. Usually plenty available and a large grass overflow.
