Looking for RV park suggestions in Venice, FL (or something close to Englewood, FL) and also Winter Park, FL. We camp in a 40 ft. A Class with tow (and two beagles)!

Thank you in advance.

AZ Baroness

We like Venice Campground http://www.campvenice.com/
It's a bit rustic ( you have to go down an unpaved road to get there, but it's right off I 75) and on the river

Hi azbaroness,
Can you tell us a bit more about what kind of CG/Resort you are looking for? Things like:
1. rustic
2. trees or no trees
3. paved patio or grass for people
4. paved pad, gravel or dirt parking for the coach
5. Many or few CG sponsored activities
6. Leave me alone or party time environment
7. What activities to you like best:
7a. beach
7b. hiking
7c. nature (land or sea)
7d. animal watching
7e. any mobility concerns
8. range of how much you are looking to pay

Anything we can learn about the experience you expect will be helpful in providing suggestions.

Gary - we need a place to stay for a couple of days - big rig and pet friendly - as close to Englewood, FL as possible. We won't be there long enough to need more than a safe, clean, satelitte, big rig (paved pad preferred) friendly park. Not too rustic - we are very definitely "citified" RVers. Thanks.

Consider Myakka RV Resort 941-426-5040. It's around I75, exit 191.
