How long were you thinking about spending? If your coming up from WV, you could take I-79 past Pittsburgh to I-80 east,
Cook Forest area is a nice stop over for a few days, from there you can head up north to NY and I-86 running along the southern border to
Watkins Glen State Park area. the state park only has one loop with electric service. I'm not sure what other CG's are in that area. From there you could take I-86 to I-88 to Albany. This route you could bypass the NY turnpike. ($$$) In July we will be spending 14 nights in VT. 3 in the Stowe area, 6 at Lake Dunmore, and 4 at Half Moon State Park, just north of Essex.
