Look at Sebastian Inlet state park, just north of Vero right on the water. My friend stayed there and loved it, If you like the ocean, and fishing and etc. this would be a good choice Try www.floridastateparks.org and reserveamerica for more details. There is an ENCORE CG close by on I-95. Let me know if you need more details s/Toby

Sebastian Inlet is gorgeous, but like most state parks, hard to get into. I could only get in for two days. North of there on the same road is a County Park but I can't remember the name of it right now. Rates were cheaper and it was just as nice. Had sites on the water of a river that ran to the ocean. Just a few miles away from the fishing pier at Sebastian Inlet. Check that out if you can't get into SI or can't stay as long as you'd like.

Could that be "Long Point Park"? It appears to be an island surrounded by the Indian River.

That's it PJ. I have photos of everywhere I've traveled, but unfortunately, I didn't keep a very accurate journal. Now I find myself going "what was the name of that place?" and not being able to remember. Very irritating. I'm going to have to sit down and go through all my receipts and notes and things and put my life back together so I can remember what I did and where I went! LOL! Ah - the joys of aging!!

Check out Ocean Resorts on A1A between Vero Beach and Ft. Pierce. 180,000 gallon heated and cooled swimming pool, full marina, 1000 feet of private beach and etc.

Send an email to orfp@aol.com and request a listing of sales/rental sites or pick up a listing sheet at the front entrance.

Google Earth 5101 N. A1A Ft. Pierce 34949 for a view of this ocean to river resort.
