Virginia I81 or Tenn I40 campgrounds

Will be heading to Memphis in 2 weeks and would like to stop for a couple days along the way. Would like to do some hiking and or biking but no toed this trip so need trails to be accessible from CG. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There is a KOA in Monroe, Va. called Lynchburg NW/Blue Ridge Parkway. It is close to I81, 1 mile from the blue ridge parkway, great hiking and biking. Have stayed there before, very nice owners/ staff. You might want to check them out. Also have stayed in Pigeon forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg area just off I40 in Tennessee, great hiking and biking in Smokey Mts. not sure about distances from campgrounds, we had a toad. Might call some campgrounds in that area to ask about distances. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions I'll check them out, was looking at a campground near Pigeon Forge called River Plantation, looks nice too.
