Spudwrench do you know anything about Chester Frost Park in Hixson? Had a friend to tell me he stayed there and it was off the beaten path. Got family in Chatt. and was looking for a place that wasn't going to cost arm and leg. Thanks and good luck on the fishing and enjoy the Mountain Air.

Yes I just camped there 2 weeks ago,,it,s one of the best kept secrets in Chattanooga Cgs,,,it used to be called the Hamilton County Park,,it is located right on the Tennessee River,,it has water and electric,,but no sewer,,however there are 2 or 3 different dump stations in the park,,all size rigs have ample space for sites,,there are 2 sections to the park ,,both are nice,,,I think the rates are $22 or if you want a waterfront site it is $25,,don,t quote me on the prices,,, Tom

If you ment Walden,s Creek it is busy but not crowded,,,if you ment Chester Frost there are plenty of spaces right now,but it gets busy on holidays and weekends, especially after school is out for the summer,,,however if you arive in mid-week you should have no problem finding a space,,,they do not take reservations,,,,,,,,,,Tom

After reading from a few posts above, that may not be mud.
